Knife Attacks & Defensive Ammunition
The below graphic video shows incident where police are trying to detain a man who was involved in a domestic incident... The man is armed with a machete... The cops have shotguns and pistols... Apparently they shot him over 7 times with their 12g shotguns but did not drop him...
I expect their shoguns were loaded with bird shot and not decent defensive shells... Many people, even police and those that carry firearms for professional reasons do not know the capabilities of the ammunition that they are carrying... A shotgun shell is just a shotgun shell... A bullet is a bullet... Well, in theory yes, but in a defensive situation you better know its capabilities... Or you can end up getting literally chopped up...
